Destination Anfield is the expansion of our world-renowned Stadium, our vision is to bring the best artists to Liverpool opening our venue to renowned artists and the best promoters in the world, while providing the best concert experience for both fans and artists.

As a result of this exciting period of growth we are seeking to build our delivery team and we are recruiting for an experienced Event Manager on a six-month temporary contract. As the Event Manager you will be responsible to deliver the requirements of the promoter and artist, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the correct technical requirements are in place. You will be required to represent LFC, whilst working within budget and safety requirements at all times. Most importantly, you will be able to set a plan in motion to execute events as per the agreed deliverables and terms of the individual contract. Responsibilities will also include:

Liaison between venue and promoter to ensure all production needs are met;
Working with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure that the relevant overlays have been sought, booked and installed, creating a schedule for show build and derig;
Work closely with the Commercial Manager to make sure everything within the contract relating to ticketing, selling of the shows and the contracts that are required to make the show happen at Anfield are being addressed and met;
Ensure that the Promoter and Safety Officer are working to the same capacities and stadium at all times;
Develop and foster relationships with Promoter PM, tour crew and artist management to ensure streamlined communication and successful execution of each show on tour;
Set a workable budget for the show and make sure all the expenses are being tracked and are within the limits of spending.

We are seeking a confident communicator with a working knowledge of the technical aspects of concert production. You must be experienced in resolving logistical and technical problems relating to venue overlay with the ability to create and maintain budgets for events. You will have previous management experience with an emphasis on resolution management, be able to work well under pressure and have experience interpreting event contracts and production budgets. Experience working in the music industry or major sport venues is desirable but not essential.

This role is offered initially on a six-month temporary basis working 35 hours per week Monday to Friday however flexibility is necessary as some evening and weekend work will be required.
