To support our HR & Services IT Sub-Division, FIFA is looking to recruit a motivated and solution-oriented person with the ability to work in a cross-divisional team as a Network Engineer.

Your duties:

• Managing FIFA’s network infrastructure on premises, at various event and tournament sites and in the cloud.
• Creating and managing changes to the network infrastructure under responsibility and planning for growth.
• Installing, configuring, maintaining, monitoring and continuously optimizing FIFA’s network infrastructure
• Working closely with the security team to apply security standards to managed network
• Integrating solutions with other applications and platforms
• Developing new alerts and monitoring techniques
• Providing second level support for areas under responsibility
• Coordinating incidents, service requests and problems resolution among a variety of functional areas
• Providing subject matter expertise support for assessing and resolving incidents and problems
• Managing large-size and complex projects and initiatives within the area of responsibility
• Providing technical guidance, coaching/mentoring to team members

Our requirements

• Technology certifications such as Cisco (Routing & Switching, Data Center, Security, Wireless); Checkpoint CCSE etc. held and current
• Minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in a similar role
• At least four years of experience in managing and operating Checkpoint technology
• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a major or multisport Event environment
• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a major or multisport Event environment
• University degree or equivalent education in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field preferred
• Project management certifications, e.g. PMP, Prince2
• Service management certifications, e.g. ITIL Foundation
• Excellent knowledge of English and business fluency in at least a second language (French, Spanish or German, the latter being an advantage)
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 10%) to event and tournament locations to provide infrastructure support in your area of responsibility
• Willingness to provide on-call support on a rotation basis
